Was told by a friend I must go get the fried chicken. We did and omg the best fried chicken EVER comes with homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans with bacon and a biscuit. Price was about $20 a plate it's well worth it you get 3 large pieces the employees keep the line moving and there is plenty of seating. Also the chocolate silk cheesecake was very good!

The best casual restaurant in Disneyland, a park landmark as one of Walt's original, Plaza Inn needs no introduction about its fried chicken. People know about, talk about it, compare it to other establishments in and outside of the Disneyland Resort and, yes it's really that good. Three pieces of herb seasoned golden fried chicken served with homestyle mashed potatoes + gravy, steamed green beans and a buttermilk biscuit. Served on a white china plate, the silverware here is the real deal too, not plastic utensils. Choose your table first, leave someone there to secure a spot and then, go to the buffet area where eager cast members are there to plate your hot food. Plus, there's salads, desserts and beverages to choose from before heading to the cashier. Everything is a la carte priced, charged per item. There are also other hot food options plus seasonal offerings too. Don't forget to get your silverware and condiments before heading to your indoor or outdoor table, especially butter and honey for the biscuits. Decor is classic Victorian style, with the indoor birdcages still there from Walt Disney's time. Outdoor seating is ample under the covered patio or umbrellas overlooking Sleeping Beauty's castle and the entrance to Tomorrowland. I dined here twice this trip, July 2024, and various times in the past six years on my past four visits to the park. A hearty and comforting meal that doesn't break the wallet even with beverages, a side salad and dessert. I always opt to sit indoors to enjoy the air conditioning but, it does get noisy though. Moving through the lines to get food and through the cashier is always quick and, cast members quickly clear the tables for you to dine on + clear your plates afterwards. Take a break in this original landmark at Disneyland, enjoy a delicious fried chicken plate or book a table for the best character breakfast experience in the resort, while basking in the time honored ambiance that dates back to 1955.

Had a late lunch at the Plaza Inn when the girls went on a ride. This place is nice and cool inside ( which was desperately needed on this very hot day) and plenty of seating. I chose to get a chopped salad of the day that they mix and toss before serving to you! It was delicious and filling and a perfect lunch for this hot Disney day!

This is legitimately good food. It is much better than "theme park" food. Nine years ago, I complained about the prices here. Not anymore. Three big dinners cost around $35 total and the food was all good to very good. In fact, these prices are almost a steal for food of this quality, whether you are at a theme park or not. The fried chicken dinner remains excellent. The chicken is juicy, flavorful, and has crispy skin. The mashed potatoes and gravy are excellent and I loved the seasoned green beans. The biscuit was a tasteless hockey puck so unless you douse it in butter, best to just skip it. The penne pasta with bolognese sauce was not bad. You get a ton of pasta but the sauce could have been more flavorful. The breadstick was pretty bland and looked like it needed to bake a few more minutes. The chopped salad was freshly made to order and was terrific. The lettuce was crisp and it comes with a ton of grilled chicken, blue cheese, candied walnuts, grape halves, dried cranberries, and apples, with dressing. It is really, really good and I NEVER say that about salads. This is not fast food and it is not theme park food. It is just good food and you could call it very good food. Seating inside and out.

first time here! i got a kids pasta which was delicious! service was quick and ambiance felt dated! the only good cake was the chocolate one!

This is our to go place for dinner, everytime we come to our second home. The fried chicken dinner is the best. The cast members are always very friendly, this is Disney, But they genuinely are happy to be here. Sitting outside on the tables listening to the parks music playing, the birds singing, the cast keep the tables clean as soon as someone leaves. Best spot to have your family eat their dinner.

The plaza inn is well known for its fried chicken meal, which consists of fried chicken of course (3 pieces ) green beans, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. My family and I all very much enjoy this meal as it's full of flavor and the portion is extremely generous for the price. We always ask for extra gravy as it's extremely tasty ! The service is always good, fairly quick when serving , and staff is always attentive of picking up our dirty dishes once we are done. It is a bit on the noisy side as people are enjoying their meal with one another while having conversations with one another. There is outside seating as well which is real nice when the weather is just right. As other options they also have salmon , pastas, salads, and desserts to choose from as well as fountain drinks. A must try when at Disneyland ! If there is a long line you will most likely not wait too long as it goes by quickly .

4.5-5 STARS Theme parks are not normally known for having amazing or affordable food, but Plaza Inn at Disneyland might have one of the highest value items served there. The 3 piece fried chicken platter with a breast, thigh, and leg with a scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy, a side of string beans, and a biscuit for $19.49 is definitely the best deal there. Trust me - the fried chicken is really really tasty. And the side dishes are delicious as well! Forget all the other gimmicky options at the park and just go to Plaza Inn for the fried chicken! It's even large enough to split between 2 people so you don't get too full. It won't disappoint!
